Operating Information

QUICK REFERENCE OPERATING INSRUCTIONS - HIGH PRESSURE SERIES

1. Connect the water supply to the inlet hose swivel on the test pump. Secure tightly.
   
2. Connect the air line from the compressor to the quick disconnect inlet on the combination regulator/air filter.
   
3. Connect the 8 foot high pressure outlet hose to the outlet fitting on the pump and the line to be tested. Secure tightly.
   
4. Turn on the water supply. Open the bleeder valve to rremove off excess air.
   
5. Start the compressor. Once the compressor has reached operating pressure open the outlet air valve on the air compressor slowly. This allows air to flow into the test pump.
   
6. Set the inlet air pressure from the air compressor to 100 PSI. This will give maximum operating output pressure. To adjust the air input regulator on unit pull up on the black knob and turn clockwise to increase pressure, counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Push down knob to lock in place.
   
7. Open high pressure ball valve on test pump slowly. Once acceptable pressure is reached close the ball valve.
   
8. If a drop in pressure occurs check for leaks, bleed air from system, consult masnufacturer's complete operating instructions for trouble shooting.
   
9. If pressure on the gauge remains constant turn off the compressor. Allow test pump and tested line to sit, holding pressure for required test time.
